How to Dress

At Forest Grove, you will experience friendly people, inspiring worship music, and relevant messages, all in a comfortable environment.

We want to make you feel as welcome as possible.

By visiting our Facebook page you can gain a glimpse into what a typical service experience looks like.

We invite you to dress casually and comfortably.

You’ll fit right in.

After all, the Bible tells us that God is more concerned with our hearts than He is with how we dress or look (1 Samuel 16:7).

Children

Teens

Sunday mornings you’ll often find children worshiping with their families in the 10:45am worship service, participating in Sunday School at 9:30am, or greeting you as you arrive! During the worship service, a side room is available where parents can view the sermon and participate in the service with children who are not yet ready to sit through the service. A nursery is also available for children from birth through four years old where the service is live streamed. We want you and your children to feel welcome, wanted, and comfortable, so choose the option that suits your family best. We also offer children’s worship bulletins and a craft activities bag with crayons and coloring pages to “take notes” during the sermon.

Family Nights are where students PK-12 enjoy fun games, interactive worship, practical teaching, a fellowship meal around a bonfire, and intentional discipleship on Wednesday nights at 6:30pm. Parents are invited to participate or attend an on-campus Adult Bible Study at 6:30pm.

Sunday mornings you’ll often find teenagers worshiping with their families in the 10:45am worship service, participating in an interactive discussion-based discipleship hour at 9:30am aimed at strengthening their faith and biblical worldview, participating in ministry, or greeting you as you arrive!

Fellowship Meals

Sunday mornings We invite you to engage in our discipleship hour at 9:30am.

Between services, we invite you to connect over coffee and snacks in the Welcome Center.

Worship with us in our age-integrated 10:45am worship service. We sing wholeheartedly in a blended style of timeless hymns and contemporary worship music, share communion weekly, and hear God’s word preached in a Topical Expository style with life application and an opportunity to respond.

Throughout the week we offer a variety of studies/ small groups designed to help you connect with others while connecting with God’s Word. We weren’t meant to do life alone, so we invite you to join us as we learn and grow together in relational community.

We share a potluck-style lunch together most 4th Sundays of each month after the worship service.

Every one brings enough for their own family plus a little extra to share.

Guests are invited to participate without expectation of bringing anything. After all, BE OUR GUEST! We’re expecting you!
